And somehow that favorite drive in remained open for these blissful events.

There is no guarantee this is a Clayton photo simlpy because not one student has been identified.

Mr. Art Stelting joined our April 11th CDPHS meeting and promptly identified every last soul in this 1938 - 1939 photograph. He did likewise for another Class picture when Carl Lyndh and Lyle Nord were still in school. Art has a gifted memory thankfully.

Clayton High football squad of 1933.

With a very special talent and a stickler for detail, Peter Coffin is able to annotate. This involves a delicate method of printing the names of the students which makes it not only professional but a great deal more interesting. Thank you Peter and the person involved in the Identification

The year is yet in question but some names are left to right: ?, Lyle Nord, Carl Lindh, Teacher, Miles King, ?, ? . The students in this and the following photo were almost exclusivly identified by Edward Kingrey the grandson of Walter and Clara King of Clayton. He attended Clayton Grade school and graduated from Deer Park High School. He happened upon this Website and is fast becoming addicted to it

Student identification is a slow process but more and more names are being added to these photographs. Front row. far left, Edith Christainson and far right her sister Miss Christianson. Second row, fourth from left, Miles King, third row. far right, Carl Lindh, back row - far left - Lyle Nord.
